SPECTROSCOPY MODULE

The spectroscopy module (most commonly called "FASTER-ADC" module) is designed for the measurement energy spectra of radiations. This module is composed of a shaper, peak-hold and discriminator function. Here is the manuals of the trapezoidal-spectroscopy and the CRRC4-spectroscopy modules.

Key features :

• Dynamic range (depending on FASTER daughter board) and polarity tuning,
• Three shapers modules which operate in parallel,
• An amplitude peak-hold module,
• A trigger module (Threshold, External),
• An oscilloscope and an event counter.

Hardware compatible

• Work with the caras and mosahr daughter board,
• Compatible with the syroco_v2, syroco_nim and syroco_amc boards.

Generated Data

The FASTER-ADC module provides 3 kinds of 8ns-accuracy timestamped data :

• Oscilloscope data,
• Event counter data,
• Peak-hold module data.
