MAIN GUI DISPLAYS

  • a view of the module’s states
  • event counters
  • acquisition time

and lets the user :

  • switch any input channel on or off
  • access the module control panels
  • switch from the setup mode (no data stored to the disk) to disk mode
  • start and stop the acquisition

All FASTER nodes have Python software bindings, allowing easy implementation of specialized graphical user interfaces or control scripts for specific needs.

Modules are configured through graphical control panels. Parameters can be adjusted on the fly, while the data acquisition is running (in Setup mode)
